Prices for rugs from these countries vary according to the way they are made and what material is used when they are manufactured. Also the locale of the manufacturer comes into play.

Any way you look at it Oriental rugs are pretty expensive even at the low end of the pricing bar. Prices usually start at around $200 and can go beyond $3000 depending on the demand and quality. Usually Persian rugs due to their high end quality are more expensive and Indian and Tibetan rugs are cheaper.

At any rate Oriental rugs make a fine addition and a touch of glamour to any home. So whether you are buying one as an interior designer’s wishes or because you just like the look of it, you probably won’t refer to it as your cheap Oriental rug.
